Dear Parents, 

Each fall Mansfield ISD provides free college testing opportunities for high school students. This year we will offer the PSAT National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT NMSQT) to sophomores and juniors, and the PSAT 8/9 to freshmen students on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.  

According to the College Board, Wednesday, October 12th is the primary national PSAT/NMSQT testing day and the only day MISD will offer these assessments this school year. No additional administrations will be available if your child is unable to test due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Test Date: October 12, 2022 

• Freshman will take the PSAT 8/9. 

• Sophomores and Juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT. Juniors will test at Timberview High School and will ride the afternoon bus (behind the Commons area) at 12:30 to attend TCC SE afternoon classes and Advisory class.  

• Early College HS Seniors will attend their TCC SE Classes. Early College HS Seniors will attend their TCC SE and MISD scheduled classes on the TCC Southeast campus. If a senior is interested in taking the ASVAB, please email CelesteHowell@misdmail.org 

• Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors will report to Timberview High School in the ECHS hallway at 7:25 a.m. for testing. 

• Campuses will share testing day schedules and more information with your student.
